The Velvet Underground

SEE THE PROJECT HERE For this project, the goal was to build a digital storefront as unapologetic as the salon's clientele. Leaning heavily into grunge and alt/rock aesthetics, this design pairs gritty, cobblestone textures with high-contrast, vintage-inspired typography. The hand-drawn elements and striking color palette of deep black, bold yellow, and blood-red create an immediate visual impact. A persistent marquee banner guarantees that while the design is loud, the user experience remains seamless, keeping the booking CTA easily accessible at all times.
